Raksha (Hindi: protection) is a curatorial effort to support our weavers by showcasing their portfolios of work. Practice makes perfect and in this curatorial edit, you get a glimpse into thousands of hours of artisanal practice. These portfolios would typically retail outside of the studio's regular work. However, given the distress endured by artisanal livelihoods during the pandemic, the studio has decided to establish a permanent showcase of artisans' works. The purchase of each work goes directly towards supporting the individual artisan and their families and protecting precious artisanal knowledge.
